Welcome to the Vale of Evesham. We are continuing a tradition of growing fruit in the vale, and have a small orchard of plum trees as well as soft fruits.
We make this fruit into a range of jams and jellies, including a yellow raspberry jam, several single plum varieties, and limited runs of other soft fruits such as redcurrant and gooseberry. We also do favourites such as strawberry, raspberry, and bramble jelly.
All Evesham Golden Berries jams and jellies contain 49g fruit per 100g product (unless stated) and are made from vegan and gluten free ingredients, using fruit grown in the vale of Evesham (except citrus). The jam is manufactured and packaged locally in small batches.
Our jams should keep for several months prior to opening. Once opened, keep in the fridge and consume within 1 month (but you may finish it sooner).
Allergen information – These jams have not been made with celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, soya beans, sulphur dioxide or sulphites.
Nutrition information - The finished product contains approximately 260kcal per 100g and 65g carbohydrates (all sugars) per 100g, as well as small amounts of fibre and protein. There is no salt or saturated fat in these jams.
Legal requirement – Evesham Goldenberries jams meet the requirements of the reserved descriptions for jam and jelly as described in the Jam and Similar Products (England) Regulations 2003. This defines the minimum amount of fruit that should be used, how the fruit is processed, and what extra ingredients can be used, among other criteria.
